SnappyCal ("the App") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable laws. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

2.1 Data Processed by the App

• Screenshot Images: Reservation-related screenshots selected by the user
• OCR Extracted Text: Text extracted from images
• Reservation Information: Parsed reservation details including title, date/time, and location

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• The App does not automatically collect personally identifiable information.
• We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or contacts.

3. Data Storage and Processing

3.1 Local Storage

• All reservation data and images are stored only on your device.
• Uninstalling the App will delete all associated data.

3.2 Third-Party Services

• Google ML Kit: Used for on-device OCR to extract text from images. Images are not sent to external servers.
• Hugging Face API: OCR-extracted text is sent to Hugging Face servers for AI analysis. Only text is transmitted, not images.
• Google Calendar: Reservation information is shared with Google Calendar only when you explicitly choose to open it.

4. Information Sharing

The App does not share your information with third parties except when you explicitly consent or when required by law.

5. Data Security

• All data is stored in the App's private storage area on your device.
• Communication with the Hugging Face API is encrypted via HTTPS.

6. Your Rights

You may delete stored reservation records within the App or uninstall the App to remove all data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 years of age.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will notify you through App updates or this page.
